Practice Velocity is a company that was started back 2002 by urgent care professionals to provide solutions in the medical software market, including its VelociDoc offering spanning both electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management for urgent care operations. This web-based solution is full certified under Meaningful Use regulations and guidelines.

Other offerings from the company include Practice Velocity Billing (facilitating the collection of 114% of the UCAOA average for each visit with less time in receivables) and its NMN Consulting service which has assisted in the development and roll-out of more than 150 urgent care centers. VelociDoc provides point-and-click functionality for the documentation of urgent care visits. Based on the selection of an initial complaint, the system auto-populates the right questions and diagnostic procedures, as well as discharge instructions.
